Hey there!

While exploring the beaches last weekend I made some new fishy smelling friend! Meet the newest addition(s) to the library, Cliff the Sea Lion and his fishy friends! Cliff is fond of sushi and shellfish, and with a few tweaks can even be easily turned into a walrus, or elephant seal. And the best part, it’s all made with NO SEWING - I feel like I’m getting really good at that.

Cliff the Sea Lion is out now on Club Crochet, and if you’re free today we’re going to be making a very special costumed version on today’s live crochet along. I don’t know what exactly we’ll be making, maybe a grizzled boat captain, or a lifeguard with beautiful golden locks. Today’s stream starts at 3pm PST live today (Friday) on YouTube if you can join!

This first Camp Crochet will be for complete beginners and be FREE! Each workshop is 3 parts ⬇️

1️⃣ Workshop - Learn a new crochet technique (beginner crash course for our first one).

2️⃣ Crochet-Along - Crochet a pattern based on the theme with the designer live!

3️⃣ Design-Along - Help the designer create a new pattern in real time.

📸 Afterwards we’ll have a Sew-and-Tell where we’ll look at some of the creations from the class and share our photos on the site for others to see!

Please share this with someone you’ve been trying to get into crochet! In the future we’ll be doing more niche and advanced crochet tutorials, but i wanted to start with something really beginner friendly for our first edition.
